Today is the day that we finally went to Busan. To get there we had to take the KTX Train from Seoul Station. There we bought our train tickets and headed out for platform 6 where our train will be arriving soon...
(Our Train to Busan will be arriving at platform 6)
While waiting for the train we explored the area a little bit. In the direction of the train platforms they had some stores that sells food for underway on board the train.
We decided to get some food for on the train. There are a lot of to choose from. They had japanese food, korean food and chinese food in bento boxes to take with you. Then we finally took the Korean one, which was the Mini-Bulgogi bento set with miso soup to go...
Kurisu was really hungry, so he bought a Cheeze Hotdog at NY Hotdogs and Coffee. It was really good so he finished up in a few seconds...
After getting ready for the train ride to Busan, we headed down to the platform to catch our train. We boarded the train car No.17. The train then left for busan at 12:30... So long Seoul, see you over a week... And Hello Busan, here comes the Running Couple...
Right after the train left, we started on our korean lunch. Munching away on the Bulgogi set with Miso soup...

After a train ride of 2,5 hours, we finally arrived at Busan. We mostly slept on the train ride.
(Lilia at Busan Station)
After leaving the platform and heading towards the exit, ended up in front of Busan station looking for the subway...
The Subway entrance was in front of Busan station. There we bought our Busan Pass to pay for our subway and train rides. From the Busan subway station we went to our hotel which took one stop by subway train. There we went for the elevator to get top side...
When we got on groundlevel it was a 5 minute walk to our hotel Toyoko-Inn. A nice lady helped us by guiding us towards the hotel, and wished us a great vacation in Busan.
At the hotel we freshened us up, and headed out towards a big Lotte Department store. It was divided into the Main Building and the Aqua Building. It was 11 stories high and the top floor has a Skyview over the sea and harbor of Busan... The sky was very clear and the Moon was shining. They had about 3 binoculars which you can aim for the moon so you can see it very clearly. It was very impressive to see the moon up close... (^__^)
While exploring the building, we found that they have an YP Bookstore department (something like Kyobo Bookstore). And to our suprise the even had a Gundam Base there, but it was smaller than the one in Seoul. After exploring the stores in the building we headed down stairs to grab some dinner...
Both are sleepy and Hungry... XD
Next stop... Dessert at Baskin Robbins
(Lilia had a Green tea & Banana Shake)
(Kurisu had Musk Melon and Shooting Star Ice Cream)
After a very good dinner and dessert, we went back to our hotel and prepare us for our second day in Busan. Here's a small shopping haul of Kurisu today.
We are pretty tired, so we are going to turn in now...
Goodnight and till our next blog...
