Mission Day Twelve: Taejongdae's Observertory and Lighthouse

Today we went out to check out the scenery at Taejongdae. To get there we took the bus from Nampo station. There we could take the busses 8 or 30 that are heading for Taejongdae as their final stop...

Afer a 30 to 40 minute bus ride, we arrived at Taejongdae, and the weather was good. Altough it was a little bit cloudy, we had a beautiful blue sky today. A perfect sky to take very nice pictures of Taejongdae's scenery...

We wanted to go to Taejongdae's Observertory and Lighthouse, but it was located uphill on Taejongdae's mountain slope. It was very steep to go by foot, so we took the train car to get there.

After our Train Car arrived we got on board, and then we were headed out for our next tourist spots to visit. The train car went up hill towards the Observertory spot. While riding the train car we had an amazing view of the ocean and the coast of Taejongdae...

After a few minutes by Train we finally arrived at the Observertory. There we take a lot's of pictures of it's scenery with pretty good weather even it was cloudy...

From the observertory deck we could the ocean view clearly with small islands in the distance. We could also see lots of ships on the ocean heading for Busan's harbour. From here on it started to get more windy but it made you smell the ocean...

After taking some pictures and enjoying the view, it was off to our next tourist spot. We walked uphill towards the Lighthouse. The road wasn't that steep so it was okay to walk to the lighthouse.

After a walk of 10 minutes we arrived at the area where the lighthouse of Taejongdae is located. From there we had to take the stairs going down next to the road...

During our walk down we came across a shop that sells souvenirs, drinks and food. We will be coming back here later on. But first we had to take some pictures of and at the lighthouse.

While walking we had some amazing spots to take some pictures near the lighthouse. 

There were some decks where you can view the ocean and take pictures of them, and also some pictures of the lighthouse from above...

As we continued our walk downwards to the light house we have seen many decks to view the ocean and the observertory...

While walking to the lighthouse it started to get more and more windy on our path. The wind blew so hard it was hard to take pictures without whobbling the camera...

While we were at the lighthouse the scenery was amazing, but hard to get on camera because of the wind. But with lotsa patience we were able to make some shots...

We even got some shots of the coastline with Busan's harbor in the background...

At the lighthouse you can even go down the slope by using the stairs, which leads you to the cliff side where you can walk on the rocks. Kurisu wanted to try it out, so he went down while Lilia took the pics from upstairs. It was even more windy down there so Kurisu had to becarefull...

While Kurisu is taking his walk to the cliff he founds it very windy but also amazing. Walking carefully allong the fences that were put there for his protection, he got on some rocks to enjoy the view from there...

After his stop on the rocks to view the ocean, surrounded by the wind it was time to go back to the lighthouse. From there Lilia and Kurisu took some pictures and started to walk upwards to the Train Car bus stop...

While walking back to the Train car bus stop, we took a break at the small store we found during our walk down the light house. There we tried some jackfruit fries and a hotdog on a stick. The food was great and it was a nice place to take a break from our long walk...

Back at the Train Car bus stop, we got back on the Train car and headed back downstairs. From there we went back to the bus stop and went back to Nampo station. At Nampo station we walked towards a shopping street nearby. There we explored the area and found some nice shops...

While exploring we got tired and hungry, so we went to the Lotte Department store again. There we had our dinner and coffee. We walked around some time at the department store, and then we headed back home to our hotel. With this we came to an end of our 12th day in Korea. See you with our next blog...
